Yizhao Gao is a PhD student at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) under the supervision of Dr. Hayden Kwok-Hay So. He received his bachelor’s degree at the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). His research interests are in Hardware/Software co-design. Currently, he is working on designing novel hardware architecture for accelerating sparse data computation, e.g. event camera and point cloud.
